The Utsunomiya Zoo is a theme park where visitors can enjoy interacting with nature, animals and children. At Utsunomiya Zoo, visitors can interact with a total of 400 animals in 95 species, ranging from fierce animals such as lions and Bengal tigers to small animals such as raccoons, raccoons, giraffes, elephants, hippos, and bears.
Animal food (100 yen) is also available for sale in the park, and visitors can feed the large herbivores.
During animal guided tours, visitors can enter the homes of wallabies and squirrel monkeys, and feed hippos and elephants.
In the park’s “Nakayoshi Land,” visitors can actually interact with guinea pigs and rabbits. Horseback riding can also be enjoyed here.
There are also a variety of events in the park, including the “Dog-One Show. There is a swimming pool, a fishing pond, and many other fun things to do.
An amusement park is also attached to the zoo, and there are many rides that even small children can enjoy.

During the summer, a chibi (small children) swimming pool is open. In winter, the pool can be used as a fishing pond. In addition, there is Utsunomiya Castle, a castle tower-style structure within the park.
There is also an amusement park on the grounds, where visitors can spend the whole day enjoying various attractions such as a monorail, Ferris wheel, and merry-go-round.
There is also a pet hotel and an amusement park attached to the park.
A model of Utsunomiya Castle is also on display. Dining facilities are also available for visitors to enjoy a meal.

Admission fees are the same for the zoo and amusement park, but each attraction has a separate playground fee. Swimming pools are charged separately, but common tickets are also available.
