Mibu Highway Park, Roadside Station Mibu

Mibu Highway Park, a highway oasis adjacent to Mibu Parking Area (Mibu PA), is easily accessible from both expressways and ordinary roads.

The tourist exchange center “Miraikan” where tourist information on Mibu-cho is gathered has various stores and facilities such as restaurants, stores, and a direct sales shop for agricultural products.

Mibu Roadside Station Mibu is a large roadside station located on a vast site (about 53 hectares) that includes the Mibu Highway Park.

Here, visitors can not only use it as a resting spot for a casual break, but also enjoy Mibu-cho to the fullest with a wide variety of sightseeing spots in the vicinity.

The roadside station is home to facilities such as “Tochigi Wanpaku Park,” “Mibu-cho Toy Museum,” and “Mibu-cho General Park.

It is a roadside station full of attractions and fun that is not just a stopover on a road trip.

Tochigi Wanpaku Park

Tochigi Wanpaku Park is a large park with flowerbeds where you can enjoy seasonal flowers, an “adventure lake” where canoeing classes are held, and a vast field. There are also facilities such as “Children’s Castle” and “Mystery Boat” for indoor play, “Panapana no Machi” for play and fun classes, and restaurants, so visitors can come empty-handed and have fun all day long. There are also a variety of agricultural experiences and workshops.

Mibu-cho Toy Museum

The Mibu Toy Museum is a “playable” museum located in Mibu Roadside Station. There is a “Kids’ Room” where visitors can play with their bodies, and a “Kids’ Town” where approximately 9,000 valuable and nostalgic toys from around the 1960s are on display, providing fun for children and adults as a family. In addition, visitors can run a model train in the “Model Train Room,” which displays one of the largest dioramas in the northern Kanto region.

Mibu Town General Park

At Mibu-cho General Park, there is a large athletic playground on the lawn, and many carp are swimming leisurely in the pond. Located next to Tochigi Wanpaku Park and the Mibu Town Toy Museum, the park is a relaxing place surrounded by water and greenery. In spring, more than 100 carp streamers can be seen swimming in the sky for a limited time.
