The spacious garden is a tranquil space surrounded by flowers and greenery, and includes a large greenhouse where visitors can appreciate approximately 1,200 kinds of plants. The large flower beds are filled with beautiful flowers that are well cared for each season.
The vast grounds of the greenhouse are lined with a variety of exhibits that are helpful to those who enjoy gardening in general, including events such as mosaic planting classes and gardening exhibits in the greenhouse.
Hands-on classes and gardening lectures are held throughout the year according to the season, and there are plans for even beginners to enjoy. There is also a store selling a wide selection of high-quality flowers produced in Tochigi Prefecture.
Tochihana-chan Dome (Large Greenhouse for Appreciation)
This is one of the largest single greenhouses in Japan. Flowers, plants, and fruits from tropical and subtropical zones are on display, and rare plants can also be seen. Unique plants such as the jade creeper and the yellow-headed mussel can also be admired. In addition, special exhibitions are held regularly in the exhibition rooms inside the dome.

The yellow-colored greenhouse offers hands-on classes such as flower arrangement making and flower education classes.
Exhibition Greenhouse
In the green greenhouse, there is a corner to introduce growers and varieties of plants in Tochigi Prefecture, as well as seasonal gardening exhibits. New ways to enjoy plants are also proposed. The greenhouse, marked by its blue color, displays mainly cut flowers produced in Tochigi Prefecture.
Large flower bed
The large flower bed, which was designed in the image of Tochihana-chan, is planted three times a year with approximately 30,000 plants of seasonal flowers. It is a great spot for taking pictures.
Hall Building
Concerts and exhibitions are held in the multipurpose hall. The hall can also be rented out for a fee. HANAcafe offers delicious meals and coffee.
Rose Garden
The collection of breeder Moriji Kobayashi, including the blue roses “Seiryu” and “Ondina,” is preserved. Visitors can also appreciate approximately 450 varieties of royal roses, fragrant roses, and roses bred by Nobushi Kawai.
Flower Pavilion
This is a resting area where visitors can relax while admiring the flowers in the large flower beds. It is also used as a venue for hands-on classes.
