Tochigi Wanpaku Park

Located in “Mibu Highway Park and Roadside Station Mibu” with an area of 52.4 ha (more than 10 times the size of Tokyo Dome), this is an urban park with flowerbeds where you can enjoy seasonal flowers and a vast field.

Since Mibu Highway Station Mibu is also a highway oasis at the Mibu PA on the Kita-Kanto Expressway, visitors can also enter the park on foot from the parking area. The Mibu Town Toy Museum is also adjacent to the park.

The path from the parking lot to the main gate is lined with apple trees, and beautiful red apples greet visitors in the fall. The expansive grounds are filled with seasonal flowers, and visitors can relax on benches while admiring the fountain.

With facilities such as “Children’s Castle” and “Mystery Ship” for indoor play, “Panapana no Machi” for play and fun classes, and restaurants, visitors can come empty-handed and enjoy themselves all day long. There are also a variety of agricultural experiences and workshops.

Yume Hanadan

Yume Hanadan” is the symbolic flower bed of Tochigi Wanpaku Park. Vivid flowers are in full bloom, creating a beautiful scene.

Ship of Wonders

The “Ship of Wonders” exhibits a collection of mysterious phenomena that utilize the principles of science and human physiology. Visitors can experience eight interesting wonders: the mysteries of moiré, the mysteries of mirrors, the mysteries of polka dots, the mysteries of lasers, the mysteries of infrared rays, the mysteries of sensors, the mysteries of reflections, and trick art. See the wonders for yourself.

Children’s Castle

Children’s Castle is a glass-walled play castle where visitors can chat with Momo-chan, a pink dinosaur, and play in a pompon pool (ball pool) and maze. There is also a pink dinosaur Momo-chan’s slip platform, a sandbox, a giant lotus pond, and a sound village. There are picture books and picture story shows for parents and children to enjoy, as well as blocks and other playground equipment. A game corner and rest area Pippi are also available. Visitors can enjoy a festive atmosphere at the popular “fair”.

The “Hate? (Hatena) Square

The “? is a spot shrouded in mystery that stretches in front of the mysterious ship. As the name suggests, it is a mysterious place with a question mark attached to it, giving visitors a sense of exploration.

Adventure Lake and Canoe House

Beyond the murmuring stream flowing from the wind flap lies a vast lake. Visitors can also enjoy canoeing at the Canoe House.

Midori-no-oka (Tanuki no Meiro)

Midori-no-oka (Green Hill) has a 1,000-square-meter “Tanuki no Maze,” said to have been created by raccoon dogs that come to play in the park. Visitors can enjoy the maze and feel a sense of adventure. The maze is so complex and large that even the raccoon dogs get lost. You cannot go straight to the goal, but must first aim at the stump in the center. The path of the maze is not always the same and seems to change from time to time. There is also a Tarzan rope on the east side of the maze.

Pana Pana no Machi

At “Panapana-no-Machi,” visitors can enjoy playing police officers, shopping, and other fun games, and various classes and events are also held. There is also a “candy shop” where you can enjoy nostalgic candy and a “souvenir shop” where you can buy character goods.

Midori-no-oka

Midori-no-oka has a variety of playground equipment. Visitors can play on Tarzan ropes, a log balance beam, and other equipment under the blue sky. There is also a model of a terranosaurus dinosaur outside.

Wanpaku Train

On weekends and holidays, the Wanpaku Train runs through the park. There are three stations where visitors can board the train: “Panapanomachi,” “Highway Park Entrance,” and “Rainbow Plaza.
